by telemedicine technology is as effective and impactful as face to face therapy.
Helen’s approach to therapy is holistic with an emphasis on total wellness and a focus
on creating a passionate life full of meaning and purpose. Some of the therapies
employed included cognitive-behavioral, prolonged exposure, reality therapy,
mindfulness, and meditation. Since working over 25 years in the mental health field,
Helen’s underlying principle to therapy is that everyone is more than capable of
creating a life of happiness and meaning no matter what a person has experienced in
their life and when an optimal strategy is used, a person will transcend their suffering
and will experience true joy in their life.
